Auxiliary Programming
Arbor’s auxiliary programs extend the Montessori experience beyond the school day, offering children meaningful opportunities to explore interests, build skills, and connect with their community in a joyful, low-pressure way.
After School Clubs
Our after-school clubs are designed to spark curiosity and creativity while honoring children’s need for balance at the end of the day. Led by Arbor staff and trusted community partners, clubs may include art, movement, STEM exploration, gardening, games, and other hands-on pursuits.
Clubs are:
Interest-driven and experiential, not academic extensions of the school day
Mixed-age when appropriate, encouraging collaboration and leadership
Playful yet purposeful, supporting independence, confidence, and social growth
Children are invited to unwind, try something new, and enjoy learning simply for the joy of it.
A Sampling of Recent or Current Club Offerings:

Summer Camp
Arbor’s summer camp offers a relaxed, engaging environment where children can continue exploring, creating, and connecting throughout the summer months. Each of the four sessions centers around a theme, with activities that may include outdoor play, art and building projects, science experiments, cooking, storytelling, and field experiences.
Primary Summer Camp
Registration is open to all students who are enrolled for the upcoming school year. Primary lead teachers lead summer camp sessions.
Our Primary summer program emphasizes:
Hands-on exploration and creativity
Plenty of time outdoors and unstructured play
Strong relationships and community-building
A gentle rhythm that balances activity and rest
Elementary Summer Camp
Registration is open to all students ages 6-12 who are connected to Arbor, whether they are current or former students, or just connected to the community in some way. Elementary lead teachers organize and lead summer camp sessions.
Our Elementary summer camp is:
Fun!
Adventure-based
Thematic
The Toddler Program is year-round and continuous, so it does not require separate summer camp registration.
Summer at Arbor feels joyful, spacious, and child-centered—giving children the freedom to be curious, imaginative, and fully themselves.
